FAQ

I don't have my recipients home address - I only have a PO box. You can figure it out, right?

Nope. We need the a complete physical address and phone number, as well as relevant home info like gate codes. We can usually correct mistakes like street designations (Rd versus Ln,) but it's up to the sender to have the correct address.
If we attempted delivery, but the address provided was inaccurate, we may charge a re-delivery fee.

I want my gift to be a surprise, so I won't give you their phone number, can I give you mine instead?

Sorry, no. In the event we can't reach the home (big dog in the yard, locked gate, etc.,) or for some reason they don't come to the door, we need to be able to contact the recipient. We'll keep the surprise if we can, but we need the number just in case.

I don't want to put my recipient's real name on the card. Can you just write Mom?

Due to the possibility that any of the thousands of people in the Yavapai County area could have the same nickname, we really need an accurate first and last name.

I got your delivery confirmation email, but they haven't called to thank me yet!

That's between ya'll. If we sent a delivery confirmation, the flowers got to your person.

I ordered at 9:00 this morning! It's 11:00 now - why haven't you delivered?!

We prioritize our deliveries by location and route. Deliveries to schools and businesses will be delivered before items going to outlying areas like Chino Valley and Mayer.

The recipient will only be home between 9:53 and 11:02. Can you deliver in that time frame?

If you request, we can offer morning or afternoon delivery at no charge. We offer Express Delivery (within a two hour block) for an additional fee of $10.00. Sympathy services are delivered approximately a half hour to an hour before.

What happens if they aren't home or don't answer the door?

Weather permitting, we'll leave the flowers in a protected, inconspicuous place near the front door. If we do this, we'll give them a call to let them know where we've left their gift.

My girlfriend is still mad - she just called to tell me she refused delivery. Can I get a refund?

In the event of a refused delivery, your order will be available for pickup in store until the end of the next business day. A refund will not be issued.

I have a really dirty enclosure card message. *wink wink* Will you type that for me?

You're more than welcome to write your own message on one of our greeting cards, or a complimentary enclosure card. If you'd like us to type something that we find offensive, we reserve the right to refuse. We're pretty open-minded in most respects, but if your message is giving TikTok disaster wedding vow vibes, we're going to tell you no. We'll NEVER put dirty nicknames on the outside of the card.

I want to send this anonymously.

Cool, we can do that. However, if they call and ask who sent flowers, we will absolutely tell them. Stalkers and creeps are real, and we will not participate. Your payment info is always safe, and we'll never share that with anyone.

I just received the most fabulous bouquet! How do I make sure it lasts as long as possible?

Change the water often! Three or four times during the week - and use the flower food packet! Make sure the water level is up close to the top of the vase. Give 'em a fresh cut every two or three days - a half inch or so should do it. Keep the arrangement out of the sun, and away from any heat or direct AC.

What is a Custom Design? How will I know what it looks like?

Most of our customers don't know flowers as well as we do. A custom design allows us to use our best product and create something perfect for the occasion. Although we can take your suggestions into account (she loves wildflowers, his favorite color is red,) you won't know what the bouquet will look like. If you want something specific, take a look at our Best Sellers for our most popular designs.

I really love the vibe of {insert designer's name here.} Can I request that they make my arrangement?

Sure! Each of our core and guest designers has a unique preferred style, and we would be happy to accommodate that preference. That being said, our core designers are classically trained, accredited Master Florists, and we can replicate any style.

What do you MEAN you don't have peonies/dahlias/anemones/callas in stock, at all times?

Premium flowers like these are usually grown by specialty growers, within specific seasons. We love offering rare and special flowers, but it doesn't make sense to keep every flower variety in our cooler at all times. If you want something special, call ahead - a week or two will usually suffice.

I'm placing an order for a custom or premium item. Can I just pay when I pick it up?

We require payment for all items at the time the order is placed. If you want to place your order over the phone, but pay in person with cash, we can take preliminary order information, but we will not begin work on, or order your specialty flowers without payment.

You're OUT of red roses? How can you be out of red roses?!

We generally get fresh flower shipments two or three times a week. Toward the end of the week, we may run out of some things - even (especially) if they are common or popular.

Do you guys have clones?

No, our flowers come arranged in vases.

Do you offer a military/senior/Karen discount?

Yes/sort of/never. Active duty or veterans will receive a 15% discount on regular arrangement prices. We don't have a senior discount per se, but we'll be happy to upgrade your regular arrangement in lieu of a discount, if you ask nicely. The era of the Karen is officially over, and we won't give you a discount just because you come in screeching like a banshee. More flies with honey, and whatnot.

I ordered the Jamie arrangement (a fan fav!) and instead of hot pink dianthus, my order had orange. What gives?

Occasionally, a certain flower may be out of stock, or unavailable. In the event that we have to make a substitution, we'll use flowers of equal or greater value to maintain the integrity of the arrangement. We do our best to replicate our designs as closely as possible, however, we will prioritize quality. I didn't know what to order, so I let you guys pick. I don't like what you picked. I want a refund. Under certain circumstances, we may replace an item that has a quality issue. Unfortunately, taste is subjective, and not liking an arrangement, or preferring a different style is not grounds for a refund.

Well, my flowers are dead! I want a refund!

Flowers are a perishable item, and therefore we require that any quality issues be expressed within twenty-four hours. An email anytime, or a call during business hours is the best way. If the issue is one of quality, or your flowers were damaged in transit, we will take back the original arrangement for a quality control check, and we will replace them free of charge. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL A REFUND BE ISSUED TO A RECIPIENT, OR BY THE RECIPIENTS REQUEST.

Fine, then what are the conditions for a refund?

All sales are final, however if you cancel your order before we've made it, we may issue a refund. This applies to regular arrangements only, not special orders. We do not accept refunds or returns on bath and beauty or home decor products.

I'm neuro-spicy/anxious/kinda clueless and I want to order flowers for my grandma, but I'm intimidated by the whole process. What do I do, where do I start?

We get that. The best place to start is probably online (right here, yay!) You can take a look at what we have to offer, and if something strikes your fancy, you can place your order right away. You'll need the recipients name, address and phone number, and a way to pay. If you have questions, or need some advice, you can give us a call at 928.445.0810. We'll make the whole process painless and quick. It helps if you already have your enclosure card message thought out, and your credit card handy.

I placed and order with Avas, Terry's, From You Flowers, Just Flowers, Blossom, etc. They said they were a real local florist, but now they are saying they can't find someone to fill my order. Do you have it? What's the deal?

These companies are known by florists as Order Gatherers. They are websites backed by call centers - NOT real florists. They lure you in with phenomenal bouquet and delivery prices, but hit you at the end with all kinds of nonsense fees. Then they call REAL local florists, and ask them to complete the order for around half what you actually paid. Most reputable florists refuse to take orders from them. The best way to avoid these [alleged] scams is to call us directly. And if we can't help you, we'll be happy to refer you to refer you to one of our other local florist buddies!

Are you Alphabet Mafia friendly?

See this video for that info.

"It's not the years, honey; it's the _________."

The answer is from one of the owner's favorite movies AND a secret code for half off local delivery through July 31!
